KENEKTID X GALLERY is pleased to present ‘Dog Days - Art to the Rescue’. The planning of the exhibition started with an idea of changing an awareness of taking dogs lightly. You may have heard a phrase “dog is man’s best friend,” but still there are many numbers of dogs those are abandoned and abused.
We wish more people took concern about animals who are living in terrible conditions and the value of life. Concern is love. We wish that the concern toward little creature can be grown up into love for people around around us.
As we pursue our goals in our lives, we easily miss the real important values that are around us. Even if there’s only one person who keeps the value of life in their mind, we believe that this exhibition was successful.
We wish this exhibition could be a chance to change the way of thinking of the public, and hope this was an opportunity to the artists who participated to this open call to think about this issue. We also hope more people would know about the project of KK9R through this exhibition, and get more interests in dog adoption and rescue.
We give thanks to all artists who participated, and specially give thanks to KK9R who inspired me to plan this exhibition and The Garment District NYC which gave us a chance to participate in the 2019 Art Festival.
Thank you for your interests and participation for this project.
